Our service user forum: Residents’ Voice is a welcoming space where people staying at the YMCA Wirral come together to share their experiences, ideas, and needs. It’s essentially a community conversation designed to make services better, fairer, and more responsive.

Resident’s Voice is the YMCA Wirral’s dedicated service user forum. In these meetings, residents can share their experiences, ideas and priorities. It provides a meaningful way for people staying with us to influence how our services are shaped and delivered.

The Forum Offers:

  • A safe space for honest feedback on what is working well and what needs improvement
  • A direct route for residents to influence decisions and contribute to service development
  • A platform for lived experience, ensuring our work is grounded in real insight
  • A bridge between residents and staff, strengthening communication and mutual understanding

Our Resident’s Voice Aims are:

  • To transform resident feedback into practical changes
  • Help shape services that are human, respectful, and responsive
  • Build community, confidence, and connection among residents
  • Encourage empowerment and active participation in the life of the YMCA
