The Potential
The Potential is our very own narrow boat! We use it for days out for the residents of our hostel, for outings of other local charity groups such as Cheshire Buddies, or as a thank for to our loyal supporters, such as volunteers or donators.
It’s 65 feet long with a beam of 6 foot 10 inches, and can carry up to 12 people on a day cruise and has sleeping accommodation for 11 people.
The accommodation consists of 2 cabins each with 4 single bunk beds. There is also 1 double settee and 1 single settee.
It has a full size domestic gas cooker with combined grill and oven and family size refrigerator with ice box, and comes equipped with crockery and cutlery.
It’s suitable for year round use with heating provided by an Arada Solid Fuel stove and a diesel fired Webasto Thermo Top C with closed loop radiators in all cabins.
2 separate toilet areas are provided each with a Magnum Opus electric flush toilet, a shower cubicle, a wash basin and a shaver socket.
A 96 gallons (350 ltr) tank provides freshwater.
